The Medical Library has hundreds online books
and over 1,700
titles in print. You can search the entire collection by clicking
on the
Cyber Catalog
at the home page. The majority of the collection is available for borrowing by staff
and affiliated physicians up to three weeks, with one renewal. The only exceptions
are books marked as REFERENCE or LIBRARY
USE ONLY.
To borrow books, you must
register your contact information with the Librarian and bring the books to him
for check-out. The Librarian MUST be present to sign out a book. Borrowers assume financial liability for any materials not returned to the
Medical Library. Failure to return materials on a timely basis may result in
suspension of borrowing privileges.
Books and journal articles that are not available in our Library can
usually be obtained through interlibrary loan. This process may take anywhere
from a few hours to one week. Rush requests generally arrive the same
day. To request library materials on interlibrary
loan, please use the
request
form or
fill out a form located at the library circulation desk.
